The last 24 hours has been pretty exciting to say the least.
I have had some detailed and indepth discussions with a group interested in acquiring the rights to a company in the transportation business and bringing them to Canada, and hopefully here to Hamilton.
An informal deal was made today with the parent company in the United States, which is very exciting news.
At this time I cant name the Company or its people involved, but lets just say I was up till 4 a.m. working on this.

Canadian Dollar Stronger than ever
The Canadian Dollar is on a tear and there is no stopping it.
History was made last week as the Canadian Dollar overtook the mighty American dollar and soared ahead at one point closing the day at a cent and a half ahead of the American greenback.
This is very historic, it was last done in the 1970's, I remember this as a kid.
But, this should not be surprising to those that follow the worlds finances.
A few years ago financial experts here in Canada predicted exactly this, and now they are saying that our Loonie could actually climb to $ 1.10 in the next decade.
So, as a foreign investor, what exactly does all this mean?
Well not to get overly complicated, it means that Canada is strong, extremely strong in fact on the worlds stage.
It means that we are a country that does not see economic problems ahead, the world needs and wants Canada's products especially its resources.
As a Company executive these are very important things you need to know when looking at Countries to call home to.
Hamilton is the center of it all, and we look forward to being your new home.
